What is The Simple Project?
The Simple Project is a Christian Organization, dedicated to showing God's Love to the homeless and less-fortunate in Monroe, LA and surrounding areas. Their mission is to value others and to take care of the poor, broken, and hurting in our community by giving them respect and love and letting them know they
are not forgotten.
Every other month, members of the Gathering volunteer to prepare and serve a noontime meal on Saturday for the homeless of Monroe/West Monroe. Our members, Jeremy and Ashley Evans, who are board members at Simple Project, are the leaders who plan and organize this meal. People of all ages are invited to participate in this ministry opportunity. Our members prepare the meal as well as serve the meal. This is a ministry opportunity for the entire family.
